We specialize in treating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders through a compassionate, trauma-informed, and faith-integrated approach. We support individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobias, and religious OCD (scrupulosity), helping them regain a sense of calm, clarity, and control.
We understand that anxiety often reflects a heightened fear response, where the mind and body remain in a constant state of alertness, even in the absence of real danger. For those struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors can feel overwhelming, distressing, and difficult to manage. In cases of religious OCD, individuals may experience persistent doubts, excessive guilt, or fear related to faith practices, عبادات, or moral correctness, often leading to cycles of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, or ritualistic behaviors.
Our approach goes beyond symptom management. We work to gently uncover the underlying emotional and relational roots of anxiety, while helping clients build tolerance for uncertainty and reduce avoidance and compulsive patterns. Through a supportive, nonjudgmental space, we help individuals better understand their thoughts without becoming controlled by them.
Through a faith-informed lens, we are especially mindful to distinguish between healthy spirituality and anxiety-driven fear. We support clients in reconnecting with a balanced, compassionate understanding of faith, one rooted in mercy, ease, and trust rather than fear, rigidity, or shame. This is particularly important for those navigating religious OCD, where faith can feel burdensome rather than grounding.
Our goal is to help individuals break free from cycles of fear and control, restore a sense of internal safety, and cultivate a life rooted in peace, resilience, and trust in themselves, in others, and in their relationship with Allah (or their spiritual framework).
